Your blog is so very amusing :)
I actually broke my anti-cruise boycott to see war of the world based on Spielberg's reputation. I shoulda waited until the DVD. It wasn't horrible, it just wasn't a great movie. Sooo ... I shall continue forth with by cruise boycott and good stead and be the better for it.
OMG! I love that clip. I just like Oprah I think.
I don't know how well War of the worlds has done at the US box office, but if you thought as little of it as I did, it's perhaps not surprising he should resort to such extremes to stay in the media spotlight!
