Noguchi architecture?
I heard that Noguchi had designed one of the ING Financial buildings in downtown Minneapolis. I couldn't find a photo of the actual building, but it's somewhere in the neighborhood of Washington Ave & Hennepin Ave. Can anyone confirm this? I only thought of him as an artist / furniture designer, but didn't realize he'd designed a building as well.

Thanks, Jeff! You scared the shit outta me, though - your last name and first initial made it look like it was my HR manager posting a comment here. I nearly had a heart attack ;-)
I'm not sure about that, but I just bought some stamps at the post office with his work featured on them.
Definitely Yamasaki. He did at least 1 bldg @ Oberlin college along the same vein - they look like radiators.
I don't believe he's the architect, although he did do the three marble sculptures in front of the portico. I haven't noticed them lately but I think they are still there. I could be mistaken, but I think Minuru Yamaski (of World Trade Center fame) is the architect.
